Friday’s 5.2 earthquake that shook up the Midwest (centered a few miles out of Bone Gap, Ill., near the Indiana border) led several news outlets to wonder if animals can sense earthquakes before they happen.
A Chicago TV station interviewed pet owners about the unusual behavior of their animals just before and during the quake.
A St. Louis TV station wondered if animals have a sixth sense about earthquakes, as did WBKO in Bowling Green, Ky.
