Police searching for gunman who killed one, wounded another

A man was fatally shot and a woman wounded in an early-morning shooting downtown, Los Angeles police said Sunday.
The shooting occurred about 2 a.m. at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and McGarry Street, police said.
The male victim, who was shot in the upper body, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The female victim, who was shot in the leg, was transported to a local hospital. The identities of the victims were not immediately released.
No arrests have been made and no motive for the shootings has been established, police said.
