Detectives investigating possible homicide in Torrance

Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman found in Torrance, authorities said.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials arrived about 11:05 p.m. Tuesday in the 3300 block of Lomita Boulevard, where the woman was found. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, officials said.
The investigation was ongoing, and it was not immediately clear if the woman’s death was the result of homicide.
