BOYS’ SWIMMING: Farmer leads Sailors at CIF State meet

FRESNO — Newport Harbor High’s 400-yard freestyle relay finsihed sixth in the eight-team final on Saturday at Clovis West High School.

The Sailors’ quartet of Sawyer Farmer, Jason Grew, Reece Hemmens and Nick Halphide posted a time of 3 minutes, 7.08 seconds.

Farmer was ninth in the 50 free in 21.05 and 15th in the 100 free in 46.42.
