Men’s Water Polo: Five Pirates named all-conference

All-Southern California honorees Jake Davis and Kevin Dayan top five Orange Coast College players named All-Orange Empire Conference in men’s water polo.

Davis, a sophomore attacker, was a first-team All-Southern California choice, while Dayan, a freshman attacker, earned second-team recognition.

Davis and Dayan, the Pirates two top scorers, were joined on the all-conference first team by OCC freshman Ilan Dayan.

Sophomore center Austin Wing and freshman goalie Alex Furlong represent Coach Adam Lee’s Pirates on the all-conference second team.

Ilan Davis is a center defender.

OCC finished 13-10, 3-2 in conference (third place) and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Southern California Regional playoffs.
