Pedro Fernandez del Valle and Kyle Pham swept in singles for the Sea Kings in Wednesday’s CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs first-round match at CdM.
Bjorn Hoffmann won twice in singles for CdM (16-4) before being subbed out. Diego Fernandez del Valle and Jacob Cooper also swept at No. 2 doubles, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.
The Sea Kings will play host to Santa Barbara in the second round on Friday.
