GARDEN GROVE — Natalia Bruening had 28 points and 15 rebounds for the Sea Kings in Monday’s game at the Orangewood Academy MLK Showcase.

Kelly Tam had seven points, including a three-pointer, for CdM (14-4).

The Sea Kings, ranked No. 4 in CIF Southern Section Division 3A, return to Pacific Coast League action Thursday at home against Irvine at 5:30 p.m.

Heather Park scored 22 for the Lightning in the Academy League game on Saturday.

Kate Knollenberg added eight points and Kenna Knollenberg scored six points for Sage Hill.

Estancia 78, Indian Springs 66

Cameron Jones and Evan Pettingill scored 14 points each for the Eagles in the nonleague game as part of Coach Mike’s Long Shot Challenge at Estancia on Monday.

Conner Gray added 11 points for Estancia (11-10), which plays at Laguna Beach on Wednesday.

Senior Chance Kuehnel scored 14 points to lead the Lightning in the Academy League home game on Saturday.

Juniors Max Nanula and Alex Toubia each added 10 points for Sage Hill (11-5, 3-1 in league).
