Newport Harbor Home Tour

Villa Real Estate will present the 19th annual Newport Harbor Home Tour. The event, which starts at 9 a.m., features six homes and gardens in the Newport Harbor High School community, a morning breakfast reception, lunch and an afternoon reception at Barclay Butera. Cooking demonstration

Orange County chefs will present local, seasonal gourmet dishes, techniques and preservation methods during a cooking demonstration featuring Thai nectarine rolls, coddled eggs and spring pea and mint soup. Newport Boat Show

The 43rd annual Newport Boat Show will feature the newest vessels to reach the western U.S., products and services. The event IS at Lido Village, Newport Beach. Hours are from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $15 and children age 12 and younger are admitted free.
