Pet of the Week: Noah
Noah came to Home Free Animal Rescue and Sanctuary shortly before he was to be euthanized at a shelter.
This 2-year-old pit-bull mix is playful, energetic and easily entertained. He enjoys romping in the yard and walks well on a leash. Noah loves people and shows a friendly interest in other dogs near his kennel.
Noah has been with Home Free for more than three months and is longing for his own home and family. Noah is housebroken, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
Home Free rescues dogs from high-kill shelters and abusive or neglectful situations and provides a temporary sanctuary while permanent homes are found. Home Free, at 20302 Riverside Drive in Newport Beach, is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and by appointment on Sundays.
The nonprofit also contracts with Newport Beach to provide animal shelter services to the city. For information about Noah or other adoptable dogs and cats, call (949) 370-2776, email [email protected] or visit www.homefreeanimalsanctuary.org.
