CYPRESS — Senor Nic Sargeant led the visiting Sailors with 23 points in the nonleague game on Wednesday.

Junior Chase Davis added 15 points for the winners (4-3).

Edison 2, Corona del Mar 1

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Mason Garell gave the visiting Sea Kings the lead in the 29th minute of the nonleague game Wednesday.

The lead carried into halftime, but was erased by Edison, which converted a penalty kick in the 63rd minute and posted the game-winner in the final two minutes.

CdM sophomore goalkeeper Alex Stowell had five saves in relief of starter Gavin Allen. CdM is 1-1-1.

La Habra 53, Corona del Mar 45

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Krista Anderson had 11 points and nine rebounds for the Sea Kings in the Ocean View Tournament Wednesday.

Natalia Bruening also scored 11 points to go with five blocks for CdM (3-2), which plays against Aliso Niguel Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Los Amigos High.
