High School Roundup: CdM’s Moses earns medalist honors in win

Karlie Moses shot one-over-par 37 to earn medalist honors for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League match Wednesday at Strawberry Farms Golf Course in Irvine.

Alyaa Abdulghany (39), Gabby Finear (40), Kellie King (42) and Lauren Nakumara (49) also scored for CdM (9-1, 6-1 in league).

The Sea Kings were without standout Amy Matsuoka, who was out with illness, Coach Mike Starkweather said. Starkweather said he was impressed with his team’s score without Matsuoka.
