UCI’s Lee advances

UC Irvine freshman Luciane Lee has qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship June 17-22 at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Okla.
Lee advanced after shooting a 71 in sectional qualifying held at the Goose Creek Golf Club on Monday. She was one of 149 players to advance to the championship.
Lee was a first-team All-Big West Conference honoree in her first season at UCI, finishing 22nd at the NCAA West Regional.
