LAS VEGAS — Senior shooting guard Max Stone hit five three-pointers and finished with 19 points in the Sea Kings’ second-round loss to Las Vegas, ranked No. 5 in the state of Nevada, during the Las Vegas Prep Championship on Thursday.
Blake Grable had 13 points for CdM (8-6), which resumes tournament play on Friday at 11:30 a.m. The Sea Kings face the loser of the game between Los Angeles Fremont and Banning.

Clovis West 84, Newport Harbor 55
COSTA MESA — Kevin Rakestraw scored 12 points for the Sailors in a lower division game of the Estancia Coast Classic Thursday.
Nic Sargeant and Zach Wade added 10 points each for Newport Harbor (7-6).
The Sailors, 0-2 in the tournament, will face Foothill, 2-0 in the tourney, Friday at 4 p.m.

Estancia 60, Valley Christian 32
GARDEN GROVE — Celia Duran had 28 points, four assists and five steals for the Eagles in a consolation game of the Garden Grove tournament Thursday.
Michelle Simmons had nine points on three three-pointers to go with seven rebounds and Gianna Jason had six points and eight rebounds for Estancia (8-4).
The Eagles play against Lincoln of Elk Grove in a consolation semifinal game Friday at 3 p.m.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Newport Harbor earned a wild-card spot in Friday’s quarterfinals.
The Sailors (6-3-2) opened pool play with a 1-0 win over Long Beach Jordan. Daniel Segerblom scored off an assist from Jonny Arroyo.
Newport Harbor then lost to St. John Bosco 3-1. True Tamplin scored for the Sailors, who will face Redondo Beach at 9:30 a.m.
