Percival repeats
Senior striker Jack Percival highlights one of four Sage Hill School players earning first-team All-Academy League honors in boys’ soccer after leading the Lightning to a runner-up finish in league and to the first round of CIF Southern Section Division 6 playoffs.
Percival, a repeat first-team selection, turned it on in league play for the Lightning (9-6-0, 8-2-0 in league), helping them make their second postseason appearance under Coach Ignacio Cid.
Percival is bound for Carleton College, a Division III program, located in Northfield, Minn.
He will play soccer and compete in track and field.
Sage Hill seniors Eric Cheng and Mason Weinstein, and sophomore Kavi Sakraney each received first-team recognition.
Sophomore Will Burns, freshman Gordon Strelow and senior Brandon Zelner each made the second team.
David Field of St. Margaret’s was the Academy League MVP.
