UPLAND — Hayley Hodson had 16 kills to help the No. 2 seeded Sea Kings to a 25-18, 25-10, 25-17 victory in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division I-A playoffs Saturday.
CdM (29-3) will play at Laguna Beach in the semifinals Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Britton Taylor had eight kills, while Shannon Griffin had seven kills for the Sea Kings, the Pacific Coast League champions.

Sage Hill def. St. Paul
SANTE FE SPRINGS —Natasha Sakraney had 10 kills to help the Lightning to a 25-14, 28-26, 25-13 victory in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Divison IV-AA playoffs Saturday.
Maddy Abbott had 30 assists and Maggie Danner had seven kills with no errors and seven aces for Sage Hill (20-6). Zoe Kreitenberg added nine kills and two blocks for the Lightning.
Sage Hill plays in the semifinals at top-seeded Viewpoint of Calabasas Tuesday at 7 p.m.

GIRLS’ TENNIS
Both Newport Harbor and Sage Hill had their second-round matches in the CIF Southern Section playoffs rained out.
Newport Harbor will play Monday at noon at Flintridge Prep in La Canada in Division II.
Sage Hill will play at San Gabriel Monday at 2 p.m. in Division III.
Winners advance to the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
