OCC men’s soccer earns 1-1 tie against El Camino
The Orange Coast College men’s soccer team earned its second tie in as many matches to start the 2017 season, knotting El Camino College at 1 on Tuesday in a nonconference match at Murdock Stadium in Torrance.
With the Pirates trailing 1-0 midway through the first half, Nicholas Cardenas evened things with a goal in the 26th minute. Vitor Gameiro assisted on the goal, which was Cardenas’ second on the year.
Reyes Jaimes opened the scoring for El Camino (1-0-1) in the 14th minute.
OCC next hosts Chaffey in a nonconference match at 3 p.m. Friday.
