Football: Laguna Beach stalls out in second half, loses on the road at Big Bear
Big Bear 32, Laguna Beach 10: The Breakers offense had trouble finishing drives as it rained in the second half at Big Bear Middle School.
Laguna Beach (1-2) twice put together deep drives, but Curtis Harrison had an interception and Noah Handel missed a field goal, as the Breakers came up empty.
Handel got the Breakers on the board with a field goal in the first quarter. Harrison ran for a touchdown on a scrambling maneuver in the second quarter.
Big Bear (2-1) led Laguna Beach, 18-10, at halftime.
The Breakers return home to face the Orange Panthers (2-0) on Friday.
