The Estancia High football team was shut out by University 28-0 on Friday night at Jim Scott Stadium.
The Eagles fell to 0-4 this season and have been outscored by a combined 89-10 in their last three games.
Trevor Pacheco had 17 carries for 52 yards for Estancia against University, while Deshandre Kerkoff and Max Perex led the defensive effort with six tackles each.
University, coached by Costa Mesa resident Mark Cunningham, is now 4-0.
Estancia’s next chance to earn its first win comes Sept. 29 at home, when the Eagles play host to Sunny Hills. That’s their last nonleague game of the season, before they open Orange Coast League play Oct. 5 against Saddleback at Segerstrom High.
