Breakdown: Edison (1-1), ranked No. 4 in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 poll, travels to play Canyon (1-1), No. 5 in Division 7 … Chargers’ top two candidates to replace Dave White as coach in January were two of White’s former players, Jeff Grady, a 1998 graduate, and Canyon’s Mike Ogas, a 1995 graduate, and Grady got the job, his first as a head coach … Edison and Canyon have met the past two years, with the Chargers winning by an average of 27 points per game … Chargers will be the second Sunset League opponent for Canyon, a Crestview League program that opened the season with a 30-27 win at Huntington Beach on Aug. 25 … Comanches lost at San Juan Hills 21-0 last week, while Edison got upset by Westlake Village Oaks Christian 24-19.
