SANTA CLARITA — Riley Holsinger scored 26 points to lead the No. 3-ranked Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Saturday.

Samantha Doucette added 20 points and Maya Kennedy scored 14 for Vanguard (5-1, 2-1 in conference).

The Master’s is 8-3, 2-1.

SANTA CLARITA — Senior guard Chris Gorman had 31 points to lead the visiting Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Saturday.

Gorman was five for 10 from three-point range to help the Lions (6-4, 2-1 in conference) net 10 of 23 from beyond the arc (43.5%).

Gorman, who had a team-best eight rebounds, was also 10 for 10 at the foul line, from which Vanguard made 27 of 30 attempts (85%).

DeAngelo Jones had 17 points, while Keith Mason had 12 points and six rebounds for the winners.

IRVINE — Jasmine Matar scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Pirates in a Irvine Valley tournament game Saturday.

Bianca Gonzales scored six points for OCC (2-7).
