Senior Laura McGrail had a pair of goals for the host Anteaters in the Big West Conference game Sunday.
McGrail scored in the 50th and 88th minute, while Tatyana Garrett also scored for UCI (7-9-3, 3-4-1 in conference).
Alex Karlowitsch had two assists.
UC Davis is 5-11-3, 2-4-2.

Santiago Canyon 1, Orange Coast 0
The Pirates held the elite Hawks scoreless through 84 minutes in the Orange Empire Conference match Tuesday.
Santiago Canyon (14-0-3, 11-0-2 in conference) entered ranked No. in Southern California and No. 3 in the state.
OCC (7-8-3, 5-7-2) limited the Hawks to eight shots.
Pirates goalie Karsen Camarena made three saves.

Naples Island Challenge
LONG BEACH — The Orange Coast College men’s varsity eight won the open division, completing the 4,200-meter course in one hour, nine minutes, 21 seconds on Sunday.
OCC’s men’s novice eight also won its division with a time of 1:14.53.
The top OCC varsity four boat finished fifth.
The OCC women’s varsity eight was second in 2:09.48 and the top OCC women’s varsity four finished fifth.

Vanguard def. Arizona Christian
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Charlotte Heerlyn recorded eight kills to help lead the Lions to a 26-24, 25-19, 25-16 Golden State Athletic Conference win Tuesday.
Sarah McKinny and Jessica Chase added seven kills each for Vanguard (20-11, 9-5 in conference).
Lauren Hays led with 20 assists and Kelly Dalrymple had 14 assists. Kelly Heenan had 12 digs for the Lions.
Arizona Christian is 10-13, 4-10.

Hawaii def. UC Irvine
The host Anteaters fell, 21-25, 22-25, 26-24, 25-18, 15-7, in the Big West Conference match Friday night.
Allison Lee had 16 kills, 17 digs and four block assists to lead the Anteaters (15-9, 5-4 in conference).
Cassidy Pickrell had 16 kills and 16 digs, while Shelley Anderson ahd 49 assists and 17 digs.
Arden Davis added 24 digs for the Anteaters.
Hawaii is 15-5, 7-2.
