FULLERTON — Jesus Fregoso scored both goals, including the game-winner in the 79th minute of the Golden State Athletic Conference game on Wednesday at first-place Hope.

Brandon Gomez had one save for the Lions (9-6-1, 5-3-1 in conference), who moved into a tie for fourth place with one regular-season game remaining (Saturday at Arizona Christian).

HIU is now 13-4-1, 8-2.
