Senior Logan Piper led the Sea Kings with four goals in the Pacific Coast League game at CdM Thursday.
Senior Matt Sherburne, senior Charlie Rodosky, junior Jack Trush and sophomore Ben Brooks scored three goals, while senior goalie Ryan Hamm made 10 saves and junior Nigel Bress had four saves for CdM.

Hayley Hodson had 18 kills to lead the Sea Kings to a 25-13, 25-16, 25-16 Pacific Coast League win at CdM Thursday.
Katie Craig had 12 kills and Paige Migliori amassed 35 assists for CdM (17-4, 7-0 in league), which plays host to University for the Sea Kings senior night Tuesday.

Carolyn Bockrath had 27 kills for the visiting Sailors in the Sunset League match that Edison won, 25-21, 20-25, 25-22, 25-19, Thursday.
Gabby Shelley had 10 kills, Leah Castillo added 11 kills, Ellie Hagadorn amassed 50 assists and Sammie Yeager had three aces and 23 digs for Newport Harbor (6-18, 4-3 in league).

Abby Griffith had 11 kills for the host Eagles in the Orange Coast League match that the Breakers won, 25-16, 25-19, 27-25, Thursday
Jordan Perry added six kills for Estancia (4-3 in league).

IRVINE — Lauren Thaxter swept at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League match Thursday.
Riley Gerdau won twice in singles, 6-0, 6-2, before being subbed out. The doubles teams of Siena Sharf and Jasie Dunk (6-1, 6-1, 7-5), as well as Kimmia Naaseh and Kenzie Purcifull (6-1, 6-3, 6-3) also swept for CdM (15-3, 7-2 in league).
The Sea Kings close out the regular season Monday at Northwood in a PCL match for second place. The Timberwolves need to win by at least a 10-set margin to claim second place. CdM won the first meeting, 13-5, Oct. 10.
