The No. 4-ranked Anteaters remained unbeaten with a nonconference triumph that ended late Friday night.
UCI (7-0-1) had goals from Gor Kirakosyan, Dennis Martinez, Gerardo Gonzalez and Cameron Iwasa in a match for which the start was delayed 90 minutes due to lightning in the area.
Lalo Calzado and Noah Gaines contributed assists for UCI, which took a 2-0 lead in the 22nd minute and cruised from there.
UCI completes its nonconference schedule on Sunday against Utah Valley at 10:30 a.m.

LOS ANGELES — Matt Skinner had three goals to lead the No. 9-ranked Anteaters in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opener Saturday.
UCI fell to 10-3, while the top-ranked Bruins are now 13-0.

Stanford Invitational
STANFORD — UC Irvine senior Alex Tebbe finished 11th, as did UCI as a team on Saturday at the Stanford Golf Course.
Tebbe completed the 8,000-meter course in 24 minutes, two seconds.
UCI’s Isaiah Thompson was 23rd in 24:23 as UCI finished with 261 points, 188 behind victorious Washington State.

STANFORD — UC Irvine senior Kaycee Holcomb finished 59th to pace the Anteaters’ 18th-place team finish Saturday at the Stanford Golf Course.
Holcomb’s 6,000-meter time was 22 minutes, 50 seconds.
