Maddy Abbott had 27 assists and seven aces to help lead the Lightning to a 25-5, 25-9, 25-13 Academy League win Thursday.
Kekai Whitford had eight kills, Jade Blevins had seven kills and six digs and Jordana Ricci had four kills and four digs for Sage Hill (7-3, 2-0 in league).
The Lightning play host to rival St. Margaret’s Friday at 5:15 p.m. Sage is ranked No. 1 in CIF Southern Section Division 3AA. The Tartans are ranked No. 4 in Division 3AA.

Sailors senior Grace Ferrell earned her eighth medalist finish with an even-par 36 in the Sunset League match at Mile Square Golf Course Thursday.
Edison won with its sixth player, Heather Harris, two strokes better than Newport Harbor’s sixth, Hannah Knapp, , 49-51.
Tehya Corona (44), Madison Fernandez (45), Teanna Herrera (45) and Jackie DeFeo (49) also scored forNewport Harbor (8-2, 3-1 in league).

South Coast Tournament
Corona del Mar High won a pair of games Thursday at CdM to advance to the tournament quarterfinals.
The Sea Kings defeated La Canada, 22-6, and Dos Pueblos, 19-13. Ben Brooks and Jon Polos each had four goals against La Canada, and Ashton Jajonie had three.
Brendan Hack, Jack Trush and Garrett Spruth had two goals each. Tristan Ospina made seven saves in the opener, and Nigel Bress had six.
Jajonie led the way with seven goals against Dos Pueblos, and Brooks had three. Bress made 16 saves.
CdM (3-1) plays Loyola in a tournament quarterfinal at 6 p.m. Friday at CdM.
