Olympians Mathewson, Buckner coming to Costa Mesa Aquatic Center

Olympic gold medalist Courtney Mathewson and fellow Olympic water polo player Shea Buckner will host a clinic at the Costa Mesa Aquatic Center from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 29.

Participants will have a chance to get autographs, learn about the sport of water polo from the two Olympians, interact with the two standout athletes, view the medals, and have a lunch from In-N-Out Burger.

Attendees will take part in Olympic training on land and in the water.

A presentation on the importance of proper rest as a component of training will be sponsored by Custom Comfort Mattress Company.
