SAN DIEGO — Junior libero Kristin Winkler had 21 digs to pace the visiting Anteaters in the nonconference match Thursday.

San Diego won 25-17, 25-23, 25-16.

Sophomore Aly Squires had a team-high 11 kills for UCI (5-8), which hit .149 as a team and has lost four straight.

USD is 15-1.

UCI plays host to Big West Conference rival Long Beach State on Tuesday.
