RENO, Nev. — Tommy Reyes and Jeff Stephens were each two for four with a run batted in for UCI in the nonconference game Thursday at Nevada.
Kyle Hooper allowed three runs in 4 2/3 innings for the Anteaters (9-8).
Braden Shipley allowed just one run on two hits in six innings for Nevada, which improved to 10-6.

FRESNO — Jordan Mould hit a double and drove in a run in the Lions’ Golden State Athletic Conference game on Thursday.

COSTA MESA — Lucas Pereira and Radek Rosiak won in singles and teamed up for a doubles victory in the nonconference match Thursday at Costa Mesa Tennis Center.
Roger Muri, Robin Wagner and Lukas Larsson also won in singles for No. 6 Vanguard (7-4). The doubles teams of Muri and Yahor Kryvaruchka, as well as Wagner and Larsson, were also victorious for Vanguard.
