A Huntington Beach man was killed Wednesday morning after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into several objects, including a shopping center sign, authorities said.
Brandon Wenn, 29, was driving his Suzuki 750 motorcycle northbound on Goldenwest Street when he lost control of the bike south of Yorktown Avenue, according to a news release.
Police arrived at the scene just after 2:30 a.m. and found Wenn near the intersection of Goldenwest Street and Yorktown Avenue.
Authorities do not believe speed was a factor in the crash, according to the release.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Huntington Beach Police Traffic Investigator Tai Huynh at (714) 536-5670 or Accident Investigator Bob Barr at (714) 536-5666.
