Fountain Valley police are seeking additional victims who may have been unknowingly recorded in a dressing room this summer, according to a statement from police.
Authorities arrested Scott Ruvolo, 56, of Victorville, on July 11 in connection with the recording of women changing at a Salvation Army dressing room in Fountain Valley.
Police said Ruvolo had recorded two unidentified women undressing at the store before the arrest.
The Orange County district attorney’s office has since charged him with disorderly conduct with a concealed recording device.
Other footage on his phone included shots of women as he walked around Target stores and a Starbucks while the recording device was clipped to his belt, authorities say. The crimes occurred between June and July 2013.
Ruvolo was an assistant track coach at Calvary Chapel High School in Santa Ana during the time of his arrest.
Authorities are asking people who think they might be victims to call Det. Jesse Hughes at (714) 593-4480.
