Teens plead guilty in Murdy Park incident

Five teens pleaded guilty on Monday to assault with a deadly weapon with great bodily injury for an incident that occurred in May, according to Huntington Beach Police.
On May 10, a group of juveniles beat up Viktor Silcock, 25, of Huntington Beach, near a skateboard park in Murdy Park in Huntington Beach after he and his girlfriend tried to stop a fight among the teens.
The teens turned on Silcock, who fled to a laundromat near the area. It was there where the teens beat him with their skateboards.
Because the five teens are all minors, the Huntington Beach Independent is not naming them.
A sentencing date is yet to be determined.
