Man apparently kills self on Graham Street

Huntington Beach police believe an elderly man shot and killed himself Friday near the Bolsa Chica Reserve, according to police.

Authorities said they received a phone call at 12:18 p.m. from a resident who heard gunshots near a dead-end section of Graham Street near the northeast side of the reserve.

A suicide note was found near the body and the elderly man died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds, police said.
