Registration open for CdM Scenic 5K

Registration is now open for the 32nd annual Corona del Mar Scenic 5K on June 1. About 2,400 participants are expected, 400 more than last year.

The Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers. The chamber, with the city of Newport Beach, raised nearly $45,000 from last year’s event.

Register at https://www.active.com or https://www.cdmchamber.com. Fees are $38 for the 5K, $28 for the 2-mile walk and $15 to $28 for youth events.

Walk-in registration will be available from noon to 7 p.m. May 30 and 31 at the Oasis Senior Center, 801 Narcissus Ave. Fees increase by $5 on the day of the race.
