Volunteers sought for anniversary celebration

Costa Mesa is asking for volunteers to help in the city’s 60th anniversary celebration, which will take place later this year.

To apply, volunteers can visit https://www.costamesaca.gov or City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, for a volunteer application and interest form. The applications can be electronically submitted or hand-delivered to the city CEO’s office at City Hall.

A committee comprised of various Costa Mesa stakeholders, with some assistance from city officials, is in charge of the 60th anniversary effort. Its next meeting is 5:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Emergency Operations Center, 99 Fair Drive.
