Accident injures seven

A car accident Tuesday afternoon in Costa Mesa led to seven reported injuries, police said.

The incident at Fairview Road and Baker Street happened at 4:04 p.m., said Costa Mesa police Sgt. Jerry Hildeman.

As of 4:45, the driver was being evaluated for DUI, he said. No further information was available as of press time.
