Volunteers sort holiday meal boxes
More than 400 volunteers, including members of the Roosters Foundation and Camp Pendleton Marines, participated in the foundation’s 17th annual holiday food drive over the weekend.
The group gathered and sorted more than 60,000 pounds of food used for 3,000 holiday meal boxes, which will be distributed to nonprofits throughout the county and to service members.
