Overturned cement truck causes delays

Newport Beach police urged commuters to avoid Jamboree Road and Bristol Street on Tuesday after a cement truck overturned on the Corona del Mar (73) Freeway.

Police announced the traffic delays at 12:31 p.m. using the Nixle notification system, saying roads would be affected through about 2:30 p.m.
