Costa Mesa seeks committee volunteers

The Costa Mesa City Council needs volunteers for the Cultural Arts, Historical Preservation and Investment Oversight committees.
The Cultural Arts Committee maintains a youth gallery in City Hall and a directory of local artists. The group is also working on finding gallery space for local artists. There are two regular member and two alternate member vacancies.
The Historical Preservation Committee promotes and advises the council on the city’s historical resources. There are four regular member and two alternate member vacancies.

The Investment Oversight Committee reviews the city’s portfolio and investment strategies and advises the city treasurer. There are two regular member vacancies. For more information, call the Finance Department at (714) 754-5243.
To apply, fill out a “Committee Interest Form,” available at the city clerk’s office, 77 Fair Drive, or at https://www.costamesaca.gov/docs/commform.pdf. The form may be mailed to Costa Mesa City Clerk, P.O. Box 1200, Costa Mesa, CA, 92628-1200; faxed to (714) 754-4942; or hand-delivered to the city clerk’s office.
