Hubbard Trial: In articles on Nov. 11, Dec. 13, and Jan. 6, 7 and 8 about the felony charges Newport-Mesa Supt. Jeffrey Hubbard faces, the Daily Pilot mistakenly reported that Hubbard was accused of giving an illegal bonus of about $20,000 to Nora Roque. He stands accused of giving Roque an illegal pay raise valued at $20,000, not a one-time bonus. Also, a Jan. 12 article mistakenly wrote Roque’s first name as Norma.
