Area 1

Jasmine Street: A person reported that a woman at the bus stop was screaming and running into traffic near North Coast Highway at 7:57 p.m. Jan. 4.

Aster Street: A person reported that their neighbor was looking through their blinds in the 200 block at 8:26 p.m. Jan. 4.

Jasmine Street: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 400 block at 11:04 p.m. Jan. 5.

Jasmine Street: A Highland woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:41 a.m. Jan. 6.

Circle Way: A person reported a shirt with the words “white power” on it was placed on their fence in the 1300 block at 8:18 a.m. Jan. 6.

Locust Street: A person reported forgery in the 400 block at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday. A woman reported that her 91-year-old aunt’s caretaker was forging checks in her name and withdrawing money from her account from ATMs. The aunt had gone to the bank that day and had documents.

Forest Avenue: Kush Fine Art reported a theft in the 200 block at 7:18 p.m. Jan. 5. A $7,500 Vladimir Kush painting was stolen.

South Coast Highway: A Corona woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 400 block at 8:02 p.m. Saturday.

Area 4

Oak Street: A person reported a suspect breaking into vehicles across from their home in the 500 block at 12:20 a.m. Jan. 5. A Laguna Niguel man was arrested for resisting a peace officer and vehicle tampering.

South Coast Highway: A San Clemente woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 1200 block at 1:41 a.m. Saturday.

Oak Street: A San Gabriel woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 9:56 p.m. Tuesday.

Area 5

South Coast Highway: A woman reported that a “drug ring” was following her in the 30900 block at 6:12 p.m. Jan. 6.

Blue Lagoon: A Rancho Santa Margarita man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 2:09 a.m. Saturday.

Wesley Drive: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 2:06 a.m. Monday.

Camel Point Drive: A person reported that a minor was selling mattresses from a home at 3:35 p.m. Monday. She reported that she responded to an advertisement for mattresses on Craigslist and arrived at the home, where a 16-year-old responded. She noted four other minors in the home. The teenager dodged questions regarding parents.

Nyes Place: Southern California Edison confirmed that 4,000 homes were affected by a power outage that started at 6:40 p.m. Outages continued at 8:10 p.m. and 8:33 p.m. An underground cable was replaced before midnight.
