Died Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 in Newport Beach, Ca. He was 66 years old.

Kurt established and maintained an architectural practice in Newport Beach for over 30 years specializing primarily in residential architecture. He had a reputation for creative and thoughtful design for his many projects throughout Southern California.
No formal service will be held.

He is survived by son Thad, daughter-in-law Michele and granddaughter Zoë of Seattle WA; son Samuel, daughter-in-law Jennifer and grandchildren Calvin and Maeve of Stamford, CT; and sister Pamela Adrain of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
