Festival of Arts visitors had the chance to see a plethora of celebrities on the red carpet and a rare performance from Richard Marx — and one lucky guest walked away with a brand new car.
Singer-songwriter Marx hosted the Acura Celebrity Event at the festival Saturday.
The red carpet was filled with celebrities, including Camryn Manheim, Marcia Gay Harden, Cheryl Hines, Greg Grunberg, LeVar Burton and Marion Ross.
In the raffle for a new Acura ZDX, Dana Point resident Arick Gale walked out the winner. Gale’s daughter Jaimie, 6, is a volunteer for the Pageant of the Masters.
Raffle tickets were for sale throughout the season. Almost $50,000 was raised for the Festival of Arts.
Guests were also treated to an acoustic performance from Marx, who is known for his hits “Hold On to the Nights,” “Satisfied” and “Right Here Waiting.”
