A highway pursuit involving Los Angeles police and California Highway Patrol officers ended in Irvine early Saturday morning, police said.
A woman surrendered to police at 1:41 a.m. on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway after leading police from Los Angeles into Irvine, said California Highway Patrol dispatcher Mark Williams.
The woman led Los Angeles police officers into Orange County at 1:27 a.m., where six to seven CHP officers assisted police in pursuing the woman, Williams said.
The suspect surrendered just north of the University Drive exit on the freeway and is being held at the Orange County Central jail, according to Williams.
The woman’s identity and what she is being held on was not released.
