Police, fire meet and greet canceled

A meet and greet for the Costa Mesa Police and Fire departments was canceled Wednesday, according to Lt. Bryan Glass of the Costa Mesa Police Department.

The meeting between community members and firefighters and police was scheduled to take place between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday at the Target store at 3030 Harbor Blvd.

The event is set to be rescheduled to another time, Cpl. Doug Johnson said.
