Vendors wanted for Fountain Valley Summerfest

It’s almost time for Fountain Valley’s annual Summerfest.

The event’s committee is looking for vendors to rent space at this year’s Summerfest from June 9 to 12, according to a city news release.

The committee needs a variety of vendors, from businesses to exhibitors and craftsmen. A 10-by-10 space can be rented for $400 and a 10-by-20 for $800.

Nonprofits can also rent space to sell food to raise funds, according to the release.

This year’s Summerfest is opening a day earlier than usual for a preview, and visitors can enjoy carnival rides for $1.

Summerfest provides entertainment for all ages, from carnival rides, games and food to a classic car and truck show. Last year’s event attracted 23,000 people, the release said.

This year’s Summerfest hours are 5 to 10 p.m. June 9, 5 to 11 p.m. June 10, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. June 11, and noon to 9 p.m. June 12.

Summerfest is presented by the Fountain Valley Recreation and Community Services Division.
