Authorities discover two boys with stab wounds

Huntington Beach police are investigating a case involving two boys who were stabbed.
About 8:02 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a call involving entrance to the city beach parking lot at Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway and an assault with a deadly weapon, according to a news release.
A boy found at the scene, whose name was not released, was taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, according to the release. He is expected to survive.
About an hour later, a second boy, whose name was not released, arrived at Huntington Beach Hospital, according to the release. He also had stab wounds. He was transported to UCI Medical Center. He is also expected to survive.
An investigation is underway.
