Huntington Beach ‘Bad Boy’ opening training center

UFC Champion Tito Ortiz plans to bring his expertise and training to those who might want a taste of it.

The heavyweight Ortiz will open a training center Saturday in his hometown of Huntington Beach, according to a news release.

Punishment Training Center, which will celebrate its grand opening from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, offers a variety of classes, including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, classes for women and children, and training by Ortiz.

The Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce plans to host a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. Ortiz and other UFC fighters plan to lead a tour of the facility about the same time.

The center is at 15321 Transistor Lane, Huntington Beach.
