City calls for canned, dried food

Fountain Valley is calling on residents to pitch in and help stock up the Orange County Food Bank with canned and dried food.

The city is holding a food drive through Nov. 18 at the Center at Founders Village Senior & Community Center, 17967 Bushard St.

The food bank is looking for donations of granola bars, peanut butter, beans, rice, pasta, macaroni and cheese, canned fruits, meats and vegetables.
