Why should constituents vote for you? Extensive background in education, I strongly support public education, believe that a quality education is the best thing we can provide our children.

What do you think is the biggest problem facing your district and how do you plan to address it? Declining financial support from the state. Support officials who place education at the top of the state’s priority list, and manage the money we do receive from the state effectively.

In the last year, what is one issue that you think the sitting board members handled well and why? Reducing the district budget by almost $5 million. Kept the cuts away from the classroom and maintained our music program

In the last year, what is one issue the board got wrong and what would you have done differently? I am not sure we got anything wrong, we had to make some decisions that we were not happy about such as furlough days but the decision had to be made in order to balance our budget.
