Saturday’s column by Ron Vanderhoff (Coastal Gardener: “Renowned plant man to speak in Newport,” May 22) misreported that Heronswood Nursery closed in 2006. In fact, Heronswood did not close. That year its headquarters relocated from the Seattle area to Pennsylvania.
